M. John Kennedy has been a Faculty Member at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts since 2002 and has also taught at Sheridan, George Brown and Ryerson.


M. John's recent theatre credits include: Fireside Munsch* and More Fireside Munsch* (Touring); The Great Shadow (4th Line); A Christmas Carol Comedy (No Porpoise); A Number (Lunar Stage); Macbeth, Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet (Classical Theatre Project); The 39 Steps (Gin Soak'd); The Hound of the Baskervilles and End of the Rainbow (Globus), Krampus, The Princess Knight and Treasure Island* (Solar Stage). He has been nominated for 10 Dora awards over the course of his career, including nominations in writing, ensemble, and producing.

Recent television credits include: Noel Next Door (Hallmark); Bury the Past (Lifetime); Mrs. America and The Strain (FX); 11/22/63 (Hulu); and Ollie the Boy Who Became What He Ate (CBC). Audiobooks include: Tell Me When You Feel Something, Escape Plans and The Colonial Hotel.


M. John received his B.A.H. from York University and his M.A. from the University of Toronto. He has also trained with Bluemouth, NaCL, The Second City, Soulpepper, Rapier Wit and the Professional Actors’ Laboratory.
