Robert Wilkinson



Since graduating from the Randolph College for the Performing Arts in 2010, Robert has worked extensively in Toronto, New York, The U. K. and Europe as a Music Director, Orchestrator, Arranger, Composer, Vocal Coach and Pianist. From 2011 through 2015 Robert held the position of Music Director at the Lower Ossington Theatre, Music Directing over 35 productions including Avenue Q, RENT, Hair, The Sound of Music, Spring Awakening, Evita, Seussical, Legally Blonde and Forever Plaid. In 2015, Robert completed the Berklee Summer Performance Program at Berklee College’s Spain campus in Valencia. In 2015 Robert also transitioned to New York City to Music Direct off-Broadway show Full House: The Musical Parody. Robert also spent two seasons as the in-house composer at Solar Stage Theatre Company, composing the score for six musicals with his writing partner, Sara Wilkinson. In 2016, Robert became the first RCPA graduate to study at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Music Directing M.A. Program, graduating in 2017. Since graduation, Robert has had the pleasure of being invited to Music Direct at RCS as a guest artist, leading their third year BA Musical Theatre students in a production of Spring Awakening with Artistic Director Andrew Panton. Robert has also spent the past year on tour with European singing group The 12 Tenors, touring Germany, Luxembourg, Poland and Switzerland. Robert also has a passion for creating new theatrical works, which is explored through Tool Kit Inc., a company created by Robert alongside artistic collaborator Heather Braaten.
