Adam White

Adam White is a musical director, performer and teacher. Adam has been musical director for Billy Bishop Goes to War (Neptune Theatre), Avenue Q (STC), The Gift of the Magi, Anne of Green Gables (Smile Theatre), Chess, A Man of No Importance and A New Brain (Theatre Sheridan). Adam has been musical director/pianist for cabaret performances by Bruce Dow, Nora McLellan, and Kyle Golemba. Adam has played the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, Ethan in The Full Monty (Empire Theatre), Cosme McMoon in Glorious! (Stage West Calgary and Globus Theatre), and created the role of Ray in Tee Schneider’s hockey drama The Shift. Passionate about Canadian musical theatre, he is proud to have performed in Jonathan Monro and Adam Mathias' A History of Summer (Summerworks), Leslie Arden’s One Step Forward (Talk Is Free Theatre), and Jim Betts' The Legend of Dan McGrew (Smile Theatre). With performer Kyle Golemba, Adam has released Making Love in a Canoe, an album of the music from their all-Canadian revue. Making Love in a Canoe had its theatrical debut in Regina, SK, and has been presented in Halifax, NS, at the Stratford Summer Music Festival, and The Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. A graduate of the Randolph Academy of Performing Arts, Adam has also studied Jazz Performance (Voice) at Humber College, and Voice and Piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Continuing his arts education, Adam has completed a Creative Writing Certificate through George Brown/Algonquin College.
