Corey Tazmania

Corey is a performer, educator, and intimacy professional who loves the artful joy of collaborative play.

As an actor, Corey has worked Off-Broadway and Regionally in the US, including 10 Seasons with Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, performed Improv at TOSketchfest, co-host of the Canadian and World Laughing Championships with Albert Nerenberg, and her performative work for conceptual artists has been shown internationally.

She is the current Caring Clown instructor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Chang School, and has been an instructor for the Canadian Contemporary School of Art and Brock University, served as Guest Artist at Brooklyn College, Rosebud School of the Arts, and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.

As an emerging intimacy professional, Corey has collaborated on workshops, productions, and academic theatre throughout the GTA. Her applied research focuses on developing new pathways and strategies for maintaining and supporting the artist’s well-being while in the collaborative creation and performance process.

Corey holds an MFA in Performance from York University and is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader with Laughter Yoga International
