At the University of Alberta, Sharon received a BFA in Acting and went on to work in professional theatre throughout Canada. A selection of some of her credits would include: THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and A FITTING CONFUSION (Stratford Festival); Rosalind in AS YOU LIKE IT and DANCING AT LUGHNASA (Sudbury Theatre Centre); ONE THOUSAND CRANES (Citadel Theatre); TRANSIT OF VENUS (Magnus Theatre), THIRTEEN HANDS (1000 Islands Playhouse/Piggery Theatre),THE AFFECTIONS OF MAY (Port Credit Summer Theatre) and THE LADIES FOURSOME at Port Stanley Festival Theatre. Among her many film and television roles, Sharon was featured in the Oscar winning film, SPOTLIGHT. She had a recurring role on the CTV series SAVING HOPE as well as featured roles on SUITS, SALVATION, PEOPLE OF EARTH, MURDOCH MYSTERIES, HEMLOCK GROVE, THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, AMERICAN GODS, FLASHPOINT and GOOD DOG. Other film, credits include: GIRL UNDERGROUND, AN OLD FASHIONED THANKSGIVING, SAVING GOD, TWITCHES, COW BELLES, THE PENTAGON PAPERS and WHITE LIES. Sharon is also an Artist in Education with the TDSB and an instructor at Young People’s Theatre and Armstrong Acting Studios.
