How To Apply

Admission to Randolph College For The Performing Arts is granted based on a combination of a video audition, application package, interview and personal statement.

  1. Application Package

To be considered for admission to Randolph College For The Performing Arts, prospective students must complete an application package consisting of:

  • An online application form;

  • A non-refundable application fee of CAD$75;

  • A headshot or recent photo showing head and shoulders (no costumes or stage makeup);

  • A resume (performing arts and/or employment);

  • An official high school transcript stating that the applicant is a Grade 12 graduate and has (or will have by the first day of class) achieved a minimum of 65% in Grade 12 English (or equivalent);

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or mentor telling us why they believe you would succeed at RCPA.

We are currently not taking in NEW International students.


2. Audition Requirements

When your application package has been received, the College will provide detailed instructions for completing and submitting your video audition, including tips and tricks to help you shine. You’ll also be asked to write a 200-word personal statement.

Randolph College holds in-person auditions for those that wish to travel to the campus (736 Bathurst St) in Toronto in February every year. Video auditions are reviewed as they are received, and offers will be made on an ongoing basis subject to availability.

3. Additional Requirements

Upon receipt of your video audition and personal statement, you’ll be contacted by the Registrar to complete an interview with a member of our audition panel via Zoom. In-person applicants will have their interview on the same day as their audition.


4. Getting In

Our audition panel will evaluate your video audition and all of your supporting documents and offers will be made on an ongoing basis, subject to availability.
