Allen MacInnis

Allen MacInnis started his career when Canadian theatre was burgeoning, which offered him wide-ranging work across Canada in contemporary theatre, new plays, musicals, classics, works by Indigenous artists, and theatre for young audiences. He served as Artistic Associate of Alberta Theatre Projects and Artistic Director of Prairie Theatre Exchange. For twenty years, Allen led the artistic vision Young People’s Theatre. His extensive experience with musical theatre include such diverse works as My Fair Lady, The Merry Widow, Jacques Brel, Joni Mitchell: River, Annie, Seussical, A Year With Frog and Toad, Rent, and the Canadian professional premiere of Cole Porter’s Nymph Errant.
